About Alli
The first Italian woman to swim the English Channel, Alli is a former collegiate swimmer and trail runner with several championships and an ultra marathon under her belt, in addition to over two decades of experience coaching in the water and on land. An NASM Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, Alli has been teaching hot Pilates since 2019 and has recently fallen in love with indoor cycling classes and the Lagree Method, both of which she is also certified to teach.

During her senior year at NYU, Alli was diagnosed with refractory Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Not even three years removed from treatment, which included a bone marrow transplant, she swam the English Channel as an advocate for young adult cancer and survivorship.
Alli recalls doctors advising her, “…you’ll get twelve good years.”
Like clockwork, in February of 2024, Alli was diagnosed with triple positive breast cancer. After receiving chemotherapy to reduce the cancer, she had the first major surgery to remove her breast and latissimus muscle. During surgery, however, doctors discovered that the cancer had spread and it was a heterogeneous sample: metastatic breast cancer. She would need more treatment before they did the same operation on the other side.
A few months later, she hiked Mt. Whitney, the tallest peak in the lower 48, with her dad and brother… in November.
Finally cancer free, Alli has more of a fervor than ever to dedicate herself to helping others achieve their fitness and wellness goals.
Alli truly walks the walk. As an academic, if she doesn’t know the answer, she’ll research it, study it, try it. And as a mother to two young children, her personal goals include becoming the best version of herself for them, her attitude rooted in a belief that the future is brighter than we could ever imagine. One day at a time: piano a piano.
Let’s talk goals
